Check and repair points and crossings (TLIB3095)

TLIB3095 Check and repair points and crossings is a unit of competence from Certificate III in Rail Infrastructure (TLI32515)

The course is designed for workers in the industry who are required to carry out maintenance and repair works on points, crossings and turnout components on existing track infrastructure.

Participants will learn how to:

• Recognise faults and deficiencies within a turnout
• Undertake repairs or replacement of the   components of the turnout
• Conduct the necessary checks on the turnout after repair
• Complete the required documentation

Prices are available on application,dependent on participant numbers, location and the participants industry experience.

2-3 days depending on industry experience.

You may be eligible for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) or Recognition of Current Competence (RCC) which by providing evidence of your work experience, previous training, references and/or other evidence you may be awarded individual units of competence, skill sets or qualification via a Gap Assessment Pathway.
