Frequently Asked Questions
MEDICALS
All contractors working in the rail industry must pass a rail safety worker health assessment to confirm they are medically fit to work in the rail corridor. Medicals are only accepted if they are completed by an approved Authorised Health Professional. You can find your nearest authorised practitioner using the online search tool below, or attend the Authorised Medical Centre located within our premises for your convenience.

If you fail your medical due to drugs or alcohol, this is treated as a serious safety breach and can result in immediate exclusion from working on any rail network for up to five (5) years, which may significantly impact your ability to work in the rail industry.
